A project in South America
We have regular contact with the project Estrela de Favela, a project in Rio de Janeiro where childen from a Favela get a chance to go to school. Recently, we have built a school ourselves.
Like Toe to Heart, they are busy in involving the local population more in the project, as donors and as volunteers. We want to learn from each other to do it the best way possible, in cultures like India and Brazil. In the coming years, we want to keep exchanging insights and visit that project every two years. This is not financed by the regular donations of Toe to Heart.
