Our new project, Bangalore Rural
We will soon have a small piece of land 55 km to the North of the current location, where we are going to build a new project. In June 2025 (When the new academic year starts in India) we will start after-school care, English lessons, sports and games. Additionally, we have plans to do “something with animals”. Just like in our first project, Bangalore, we take care that mothers from single-parent families can stay working while their young children are brought up in a meaningful way.
We have contacts with local managers and the local school, where education in English is not imparted, which is essential to progress further in India. Like it happened with the first project, the same will probably also happen with this new project. You begin with the after-school care and create such a bond with some children that you continue to help them further in their lives. For example, that can be the financing of en education at a privately funded school with English education.
Some children will need to be picked up and dropped off. We are busy with the purchase of a schoolbus. A former student of our first project will drive that bus. We will temporarily hire a school location so that we will have time to build our own school.

For learning resources, play equipments, professional teachers and travel expenses towards this project, a lot of money is spent every year.
